Tk 281 crore revenue collected from Hili in 9 months

Despite the ongoing epidemic, the Hili land port in Dinajpur has continued to generate revenue. In the first nine months of the current financial year (July-March), the northern port of the country has collected more than the target of Tk 64.97 crore.

In the first nine months of the current financial year, the revenue collection target at Hili land port was set at Tk 216.65 crore, against which Tk 281.62 crore was collected. The growth in revenue collection was 130 percent. Of this, additional revenue of Tk 36.48 crore has been collected from the port in March alone. The Healy Customs Authority expects to generate additional revenue by exceeding the target for the remaining three months of the financial year.
