Various organizations have made proposals to the NBR to reduce tax rates on various manufactured goods, including readymade garments. He made the remarks at a virtual meeting of the 41st meeting of the Advisory Committee of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) jointly organized by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) and The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Sunday (April 18).
"Revenue collection is our main goal," he said. At the same time, the NBR is working to narrow down the areas of opacity and tax evasion. We want to do business friendly revenue administration. Through which local industry and trade facilitation will be supported.
‘We all know that reducing the tax rate will make the tax main easier. We are working towards this purpose. However, the country's development growth related revenue collection has to be done. We have done a software development called PBS with ICAB as part of the tax hike which will help in accountable audit report. And it will help in preparing an audit report and identifying the unscrupulous traders. Through this we will get accurate income-expenditure account. As a result, corporate taxes can be reduced in the future.
The internal resources department and chairman added, "We are working to bring transparency in business and other issues through automation." All our activities will bring NBR capacity and transparency to the taxpayers. We are going to be a developed country and we will produce high value products and high value networks in the future. '
