IRF new President Maula Secretary Sumon

The Insurance Reporters Forum (IRF), an organization of journalists in the insurance sector, has formed a new executive committee. The committee will work for the next two years (2021-22). Golam Maula of Bangla Tribune has been elected as the President of the new committee. Sakhawat Hossain Sumon of NewsBangla24com has been elected general secretary.

Today, Saturday (April 10, 2021) the general meeting of the organization was held on the virtual platform. Later, an executive committee was formed with the consent of the members of the organization.

Other members of the committee are Vice President Ali Riaz (Daily Bangladesh Pratidin), Joint General Secretary Ali Ibrahim (Daily Bhorer Kagoj), Finance Secretary Abdur Rahman (Insurance News BD), Organizing Secretary Rahman Aziz (Daily Dhaka Times), Office Secretary Zakir. Hossain (Daily Nowadays News), Publicity and Publication Secretary, Md. Akhtaruzzaman (Daily Sangram).

The meeting was presided over by the outgoing president of the organization Rezaul Haque Kaushik. The program was conducted by the outgoing general secretary Rahim Sheikh. Other members including five members of the Election Management Committee were present at the meeting.
