If bank is open, capital market will also be open

Under the Coronavirus situation, the capital market will remain open as long as the banking system is open in the country. This information was given in a press release signed by Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Executive Director and Spokesperson of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).

It is learned that if banking activities are resumed at any time including the Covid-19 epidemic, all capital market transactions will continue in the interest of investors. The capital market is currently trading for two hours from 10 am to 12 noon.

The BSEC has requested investors not to listen to any rumors in this regard.
