The price of dates has come down in the market before the upcoming holy Ramadan. Vendors claim that dates are available at lower prices this year. According to them, the price of some dates has come down by at least Tk 100 per kg as compared to last year. Again, the price per kg of a date has come down even more than this. At present, there are different types of dates in the market starting from Tk 200 to Tk 1,000 per kg. But buyers say the price of dates should have been lower.

Today, Saturday (April 10) in the capital's Kawranbazar, Farmgate and Segunbagichar markets, such information has been found in the price.
