The 20th and last auction of the current season has been completed at Srimangal in Moulvibazar district. In this auction, for the first time, 2 kg of yellow tea was lifted and sold. That Tea was sold at Rs 12,200 per kg. 10,000 kg of tea was raised for sell in this auction. All the tea has been sold. The market for tea sold is around 20 lakh Tk.

More than 50 buyers and three broker houses from different parts of the country took part in the auction held on Thursday under the management of Tea Planters and Traders Association Bangladesh (TPTAB).

In this auction, the highest price of tea was Tk 12,200 per kg, the lowest was Tk 150 and the average price was Tk 221. Srimangal Brokers House offers two kg of yellow tea produced by Vrindavanpur Tea Garden in Habiganj, which was sold at the highest price at auction. Bought Popular Tea House.
