Rupali Bank gave public loans to the affected flower growers
On the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Rupali Bank has disbursed a loan of Taka 50 lakh to other farmers affected by the corona, including florists.
The loan was given to a total of 80 farmers at a function organized by Rupali Bank’s SM Road branch, Navaran branch and Bagamchara branch at Panisara in Gadkhali, Jessore, a famous area for floriculture on Thursday. Each farmer is given a cash check starting from Tk 50,000 to Tk 1 lakh.
Rupali Bank Deputy General Manager. Iman Ali presided over the ceremony, the bank’s head office, agriculture, rural credit and microcredit, general manager. Mojibar Rahman, Deputy General Manager Jebu Sultana and SMR Road Branch Manager. Shahidul Islam delivered the keynote address.
