Additional Tk 28 crore revenue collected in Hili

In the first eight months of the current financial year (July-February), the revenue of Dinajpur’s Hili land port has been collected in excess of the target of Tk 28 crore 49 lakh 69 thousand. The target for revenue collection from the port at that time was Tk 191.79 crore. In contrast,Tk 220 crore 28 lakh 69 thousand has been collected.

It is learned that in February alone, additional revenue of Tk 16 crore 65 lakh has been collected from the port. In the remaining four months of the financial year, the customs authorities are expecting to collect additional revenue by exceeding the target.
