India’s tea exports fall 18 by percent

India, the world’s second-largest tea exporter, saw its tea exports fall by 18 percent last year due to the epidemic. The country exported 204 million kg of tea in 2020, compared to 255 million kg in 2019. News Times of India.
Last year, India’s tea exports fell by 44 million kg. However, despite the decline in India’s tea exports, its top competitor Kenya has increased.
