The Commerce Ministry has informed the cabinet that there are sufficient stocks of six daily commodities in the country ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. The Commerce Ministry said this at a virtual cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday (March 9).

As Ramadan approaches, some items are urgently needed during Ramadan - edible oil, sugar, gram, lentils, dates, onions and ginger. With these, the Commerce Ministry today assured the Cabinet that the stock is comfortable (adequate) compared to the amount we need. '
