20 lakhs people will get money through bkash

About 2 million people in 24 districts will get allowance through bkash without any additional cost.

Bkash will provide this service to 2 million people under the government’s social security program under the Ministry of Social Welfare. Under this program, old age, widow and husband abandoned, indigent and handicapped students will get allowance.

Recently, an agreement has been signed with the Ministry of Social Welfare in this regard. This was reported in the press release. According to the agreement, the beneficiaries will be able to withdraw their allowances using the bKash account at no extra cost.

Minister for Social Welfare Nuruzzaman Ahmed, Secretary Mohammad Zainul Bari, Chief Executive Officer of bKash Kamal Qadir, Chief Apprentice and Corporate Affairs Officer Major General (Retd.) Sheikh Mohammad at the signing ceremony. Many including Monirul Islam were present.
