Bangladesh will not left behind in the era of fourth industrial revolution

Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar has said that manual labor will be transformed into dependence due to unimaginable technological development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He said everyone, including BGMES, must be prepared to face the challenge of transformation so that those involved in our conventional manual labor are not harmed by the use of artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, blockchain or big data technology. Emphasizing on adopting and implementing proper plans to keep them functional, he said Bangladesh will not lag behind even in the age of technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the mobile app for members of the Bangladesh Garment and Exporters Association (BGMEA) on Saturday.

He spoke online at the event organized by BGMEA. BGMEA President Rubana Haque presided over the function. It was attended by Anir Chowdhury, Senior Policy Adviser, A2I Program, Prime Minister’s Office and SA Samad, Vice President, BGMEA.
