Mozaffar Hossain Spinning lost Tk 15 crore in fire

The fire at the new spinning warehouse (ring unit) of Mozaffar Hossain Spinning Mills in the textile sector has caused a loss of about Tk 15 crore.

It is learned that a fire broke out in the ring unit warehouse of the company at 8.05 pm on February 26. The fire burned raw cotton, finished yarn and warehouse sheds. 4 units of fire service were able to put out the fire after 6/7 hours. The company estimates that the fire caused a loss of around Tk 15 crore.

The insurance company has hired surveyors to survey the fire-damaged raw cotton, finished yarn and warehouse sheds that are insured.
