US President Joe Biden has lifted an immigration ban imposed by the former President Donald Trump administration. News from NDTV.
On Wednesday, he lifted the ban. Trump imposed the ban last year on the pretext of ensuring employment for U.S. citizens in the Corona epidemic.
A White House statement said Trump’s ban “separates many families and does not advance US interests.”
The statement said the United States has suffered because of the sanctions, which have prevented some U.S. citizens from visiting their families with members and legal permanent residents.
