He said this at a virtual press conference at 2 pm on Monday.

The education minister said, “After discussions with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the university’s vice-chancellors, it has been decided to start classes from May 24 after Eid-ul-Fitr.” A week before that, the residential hall will be opened from May 17. ‘

Dr. Dipu Moni said, ‘The most important issue for us is the health of the students. Despite our limitations, we have continued online classes. However, this problem is not only in Bangladesh, but also in developed countries, not all students are able to take classes online.

He said, “All the teachers and staff of the university will be vaccinated at this time till the opening of the university.” At the same time, all students will be vaccinated.
