Every director including the MD of Munnu Ceramics fined Tk 1 crore

It has been decided to impose a fine of Tk 1 crore on each director, including the managing director of Munnu Ceramics Limited, a listed ceramic company.

The decision was taken at the 761st Commission Meeting of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). This information has been given in the press release signed by BSEC Executive Director and Spokesperson Mohammad Rezaul Karim.

It is learned that Munnu Ceramic Rule 12(1) (2) of the Securities and Exchange Rules, 1987, Commissions Notification No. BSEC/CMRRCD/2006-158/ Admin / 71 dated June 20, 2018 and Section 17 (b) of the Sec The commission has decided to impose a fine of Tk 1 crore on each director (except the independent director), including the managing director of Munnu Ceramics, for violating the Exchange Ordinance 1979.
