If he wins the election, Jahangir Alam has promised to take initiative to open RMG wing in Bangladesh missions abroad to expand the new market in the garments sector.

He is the panel leader of the Independence Council in the BGMEA elections. He said this at a press conference at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Sunday (February 14).

Jahangir Alam said the RMG wing will provide information about the brand of the product, the market and resolve any disagreement with the buyer. Besides, initiatives will be taken to make up-to-date industry-friendly labor policy by amending the obsolete sections of the labor law.
