Uber lost about 700 crore dollars
Uber, an internationally renowned ride-sharing company, lost 700 crore dollars a year to the epidemic. This is good news again. Let’s not know how? Uber has suffered losses throughout the year. Uber has released loss figures for the fourth quarter.
But in the whole of 2019, the loss of the company has been 850 crore dollars. That year Uber took several steps to reduce costs. In the last three months of 2020, Uber has lost 96 crore dollars. Compensation for the shares was 23 crore dollars million, while in 2019, compensation for losses in the shares was, 110 crore dollars.
Nestles Chai, Uber’s chief economic officer, said the company was entering the field with the goal of making a profit in 2021. Uber did not make much profit as the ride business collapsed in the epidemic. Uber has earned 300 crore dollars since the lockdown eased in the fourth quarter of last year. However, this income is 16 percent less than in 2019.
However, Uber’s business was booming during the Uber Eats epidemic. Compared to 2019, in the fourth quarter of 2020, the revenue of Uber Eats has reached 1.4 billion dollars, the revenue has increased by 224 percent. However, the revenue from the ride share has decreased by 52 percent compared to the same period last year, the revenue has been 1.5 billion dollars.
