Walton’s half-year profit is more than Tk 646 crore

Listed in the capital market engineering sector, Walton Hi-Tech Industries has released its unaudited financial report for the first half of the year (July-December, 2020). According to the report, the company’s post-tax profit for the first half of the year was 646 crore 33 lakh 88 thousand 691 taka, which is Tk 30 crore more than the previous year.

The company’s board of directors meeting on Wednesday (February 10) approved the financial report for the quarter.

In the first half of the previous year (July-December, 2019), the company’s after-tax profit was 616 crore 28 lakh 1 thousand 467 taka. Therefore, the profit after tax has increased by 30 crore 5 lakh 87 thousand 215 taka in the current financial year.

Meanwhile, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the second quarter was 8. At the same time last year, EPS was 5.17.

In two Quarter 6 months (July-December, 2020) the earnings per share (EPS) has  21.34. 20.34 during the same period last year.

The net asset value per share (NAVPS) revalued till December 31, 2020 stands at Tk 287.94. As of June 30, 2020, the NAVPS was Rs 261.92.

Besides, the company’s net operating cash flow (NOCFPS) for the first half of the year (July-December, 2020) has been Rs 47.89. At the same time last year, the negative NOCFPS was Rs 4.75.
