Southeast bank will provide Islamic banking services in all business centers
Southeast Bank Limited will now be able to provide Shariah-based Islamic banking services from all business centers of the bank in addition to conventional banking. Bangladesh Bank has given this approval in response to the application of the bank.
As a result of this approval of Bangladesh Bank, it will be easier to provide all the modern and technology based services of Islamic banking from all the business centers of the bank besides the conventional banking services from now on.
At present Southeast Bank has 5 fully Islamic banking branches. The branches are Motijheel branch, Dhaka; CDA Avenue Branch, Chittagong; Bandarbazar Branch, Sylhet; Chagalnaiya branch, Feni and Cox’s Bazar branches.
Southeast Bank has been operating Islamic banking services under the name “Southeast Tizarah” Banking since 2003. At present, Southeast Bank has 135 branches and 18 sub-branches.
