Benapole port railway revenue of Tk 261 crore in 6 months

The government has earned revenue of Tk 261 crore in the first six months of the current financial year by rail through Benapole port. On the other hand, the railway authorities have earned 2 crore 85 lakh 54 thousand rupees from the rent. At that time goods worth Tk 822 crore were imported through Bell.

The amount is 2 lakh 39 thousand 454.3 metric tons. However, at the end of the current financial year, the revenue and rent will be doubled on this route, said Benapole Railway Station Master Shahiduzzaman.
