The London Stock Exchange is keen to work together to develop the capital market in Bangladesh. Robert Chatterton Dixon, the UK's High Commissioner to Bangladesh, expressed interest in visiting the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on Sunday.

Robert Chatterton Dixon met with the Commission that afternoon. It discusses the capital market situation in both the countries.

Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam at the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) told SunBD that the British High Commissioner came to the commission today. We had a fruitful conversation. They want to cooperate in the development of the capital market in Bangladesh. We are also interested in working with them. We want to take the capital market forward through mutual relations.
