Beximco will also sell 3 million doses privately

Beximco Pharmaceuticals is buying about 3 million doses of corona vaccine from the Serum Institute of India for sale in the Bangladesh market privately outside the government process. They will pay the Serum Institute eight dollars for each dose.

Beximco’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rabbur Razar said this in a mobile phone interview with Reuters on Tuesday.

In this regard, he said, this activity may start next month. It will cost about tk 1125 (. 13.27 dollar) per dose. Out of 3 million, the contract for 1 million doses has already been completed. Now I am planning to collect another 20 lakh doses.
