Tarek of Dhaka College receives ‘President’s Rover Scouts Award’

A student of Dhaka College and a member of Dhaka College Rover Scouts Rover Mate KM Tareq Aziz Sumon, , has won the “President’s Rover Scouts Award”.

In a letter signed by Bangladesh Scouts Executive Director Arshadul Mukaddim on Monday, a total of 14 Rover Scouts members from across the country, including Tarek, were nominated for the President’s Rover Award.

Expressing his feelings over this achievement, Tareq said, “I will work for the expansion of scouting and dedicate myself to the development of the country as an ideal citizen in the spirit of the liberation war.”

Dhaka College Rover Scout Group is a unique group in scouting. The rovers of Dhaka College are succeeding at the national level under the close supervision of skilled rover leaders. Dhaka College Administration is contributing to the overall development of Dhaka College Rover Scout.

Tareq is an MBA student of Dhaka College and Senior Rover Mate, Dhaka College Rover Scouts. His village home is in Chitalmari upazila of Bagerhat district.
