Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni (ABCA) started journey

The journey of “Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni” (ABCA) has started on the initiative of former Bangladeshi students studying in China in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka. The organization today issued an official notice urging all former Bangladeshi students studying in China to register.

Bangladeshi nationals with at least one Academy Degree (Diploma, Graduate, Post-Graduate, Doctorate, etc.) from various educational institutions in the People’s Republic of China can apply for membership of this Alumni Association.

The main objective of the Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni (ABCA) is to enhance and renew the lifelong Chinese experience of Bangladeshis studying in China, to enhance the friendly and cordial relations between the people of the two fraternal countries through cooperation, professionalism and service activities. Contribute to building bridges of friendship between the countries.

A 18-member Preparatory Secretariat (PS) committee is working to establish the Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni (ABCA). Where as the convener. Md. Shahab-ul-Haq and A.A.M. Mujahid.

In order to start the journey of the Alumni Association, an online meeting was organized with the members of PS for about two hours on 30th December at 3:40 pm Bangladesh time. The meeting was chaired by Mr. A., President of Bangladesh-China Youth Student Association (BCYSA) and Joint-Convener of Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni (ABCA). A. M. Mujahid and chaired by the convener of the Association of Bangladesh-China Alumni (Abka). Md. Shahab ul Haq.

The meeting was attended by the First Secretary (Cultural Department) of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka Julia Yuzhu and members of the Preparatory Secretariat Panel. Md. Rakibul Haque, Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, Dr. Md. Abu Kawsar (Swapan), Dr. KM Shafiqul Islam, Dr. Nazmus Shakib, Muhammad Zakaria, Md. Bashir Uddin Khan, Maruf Hasan Nasim, A. B. M. Hasan, Iftekhairul Haque Emon, Nuzhat Farhana, Kazi Rezyan Ahmed, Dr. Jerin Imam and others.

On behalf of the Preparatory Secretariat Committee, Abka requested all interested alumni members to register as members of the association and become a proud member and contribute to the success of this noble initiative.
