With this, the central bank has bought 4.2 billion (4.30 billion) dollars in four and a half months of the current fiscal year 2020-21, till November 19. Bought 5.10 billion in the first eight and a half months of this year.
Bank officials say Bangladesh Bank has never bought so many dollars in such a short time.
