BICM has a series programs to mark the National Mourning Day
Bangladesh Institute of Capital Markets (BICM) has launched a series of programs on the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The programs are- On the National Mourning Day, a banner was made on behalf of the institute and placed at the entrance of the institute. On 15 August 2020, the national flag was hoisted at the institute on National Mourning Day. On behalf of the Institute, a wreath will be laid at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 (Old) Road, Dhanmondi on the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
On the other hand, the employees of the institute wear black badges on National Mourning Day. Arrangement of Doa Mahfil on 16th August 2020 at 11:00 am. Besides, a discussion meeting on ‘Bangabandhu’s economic life philosophy’ was organized on 16 August 2020.
Simultaneously, Mujib Book Corner was inaugurated in the library of the institute. Inauguration of digital display board of the institute and screening of documentary on Bangabandhu’s biography. The institute’s website, Facebook and YouTube have been promoting video and photo collages on Bangabandhu’s biography and calling on the staff and students to plant trees.
