Publicly traded company, Saif Powertec Limited provided the Ministry of Youth and Sports with masks, gloves and PPEs as a preventive measure to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.
Managing Director of Saif Powertec Limited Tarafder Md Ruhul Amin with its Executive Director Farukh Ahmed Khan handed over the protective equipment to State Minister of Youth and Sports Ministry Md Zahid Ahsan Russel at secretaried in the capital on Sunday, said a press release.
The company has earlier helped the people and the port workers, who are playing frontline roles in combating the coronavirus outbreak in the country, the release added.
Besides, the Saif Powertec contributed Tk2crore to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund recently to help fight the virus.
Tarafdar Md Ruhul Amin said, "We have been providing food and incentives to the distressed workers of Chattogram port. We have also given relief, hand gloves, hand sanitiser, mask etc. to the helpless people in different parts of the country"
