The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBC) has taken various steps to implement the incentive package announced by the government to stand by small, medium and new entrepreneurs who have suffered to keep the country's economic wheel running during this global epidemic. However, the FBCCI will not assist loan defaulters in accepting this incentive package. Recently, the Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) organized a views exchange meeting with all the bank officials of Narsingdi district. FBCCI President Sheikh Fazle Fahim said this while addressing the meeting as the chief guest.
Sheikh Fazle Fahim said, “We are cooperating with the small, medium, and new entrepreneurs of the country who have no connection with the bank to avail this incentive. We want to connect the unrecognized traders of the country. This will also strengthen the economic aspect of the nation. However, we never want the banks to have any problem in implementing this incentive. Because the banking sector is also a big stakeholder. Besides, we are always working to ensure that defaulter traders in the country do not get any kind of loan facility. ”
He further said, “Let the real traders of the country accept this incentive package. For this, the members of all our district chambers of commerce will cooperate with the bankers. Moreover, the members of the Chamber of Commerce will go to each ward to inquire about the traders and will work to solve all the problems of the traders in the CMSE sector. For the survival of the people country, it is time to come forward to get the incentives of the traders of the CMSE sector. If anyone has any problems with availing the incentives, please contact the staff of our Chamber of Commerce. We will talk to Bangladesh Bank and senior government officials about those issues. ”
Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) President Ali Hossain Shishir presided over the meeting, which was attended by special guests FBCCI Vice-President Rezaul Karim Rejnu, Babu Prabir Saha and officials of 34 banks in Narsingdi district.
