1st meeting of Mercantile Bank Limited Shariah Supervisory Committee held
1st meeting of Mercantile Bank Limited Shariah Supervisory Committee was held on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at its Head Office, 61, Dilkusha C/A, Dhaka-1000.
The committee has given direction to commence its Islamic Banking Window Operations in the name and style “Taqwa” at the earliest.
Honorable Chairman of Shariah Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors of the Bank MorshedAlam, MP presided over the meeting.
Among the other members of the committee Al-HajAkram Hossain Humayun (virtually attended), A.K.M. Shaheed Reza, M.A. khan Belal, Mawlana Shah Mohammad WaliUllah and Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of the bank were also present in the meeting.
Additional Managing Director MatiUlHasan and Head of Islamic Banking Division and Senior Vice President Syed Murtaza Hassan were also present in the meeting.
