Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said today All educational institutions across the country will remain closed till September if the coronavirus situation does not improve.

"We will reopen the institutions as soon as the situation improves. We will open other sectors gradually," she said during a video conference at her official Ganabhaban residence.

Sheikh Hasina also said, "The government has given highest priority on saving lives of the people and ensuring their livelihood during this coronavirus pandemic."

Public representatives and officials of the eight districts of Rajshahi division are connected to it to discuss on the present coronavirus situation of the country.

There are around two lakh educational institutions across the country with more than four crore of students.
