Coronavirus: City Bank Capital donates to DASCHO Foundation, Rajshahi

As the new Coronavirus pandemic threatens life all over the globe, we can only hope and pray that Bangladesh, a country of 165.6 million people is the least affected. In this hope, City Bank Capital, one of the leading investment banks in Bangladesh steps up to support the neediest by contributing to DASCHO Foundation, Rajshahi. On behalf of CBC, necessary commodity products like basic meals, medical supplies, hygiene materials etc. will be distributed by Mr. Jahangir Alam Khan, Project Coordinator, IWRM Project, DASCOH Foundation to indigenous people of 10 union councils in Rajshahi. CBC hopes to reach at least 1000 people.  All the employees of CBC contributed an amount equal to a day’s salary and CBC also contributed a hefty amount as well to create a fund that is being donated to DASCHO Foundation to support the indigenous people in Rajshahi.

We hope and expect to work together with everyone in difficult times like this to make Bangladesh stronger and safer by maintaining social distance, taking safety precautions and by helping the ones who are the most vulnerable.
