Bangladesh has reported one more death from the coronavirus pandemic raising the number of deaths caused by the virus to nine while 18 more have been infected, totalling the confirmed cases to 88.
In 24 hours till 12:00pm Sunday, 18 people were diagnosed with the infection and one more died of the virus, health minister Zahid Maleque told a press briefing via video conference from his home in the capital.
Three patients have recovered during the period, he added.
Now, the number of COVID-19 cases is 88 in the country.
On 8 March, the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) reported the first COVID-19 case in the country.
