Modi will inaugurate the Friendship Bridge on the Feni River tomorrow

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Friendship Bridge over the Feni River between Bangladesh and India on Tuesday (March 9th).
The 1.9 km long bridge will connect India’s subrooms with Ramgarh in Bangladesh. The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation of India has built the bridge at a cost of Rs 133 crore.
A statement from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said the construction of the bridge would facilitate communication between Chittagong and Tripura. Because, the distance from subroom to Chittagong is only 80 kilometers.
At this time Narendra Modi will inaugurate the bridge as well as lay the foundation stone of an integrated checkpost in the subroom.
