IDRA chairman’s bribe demand: ACC launched an investigation

Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) Chairman. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched an investigation into allegations of bribery against M Mosharraf Hossain.
After the final decision was taken by the ACC head office on March 4, the commission appointed an investigation officer on monday (March 8). ACC Deputy Director Nurul Huda has been appointed as the investigating officer and Syed Iqbal Hossain as the supervisor.
IDRA chairman said at a press conference on February 7. Delta Life has accused M Mosharraf Hossain of malicious behavior and demanding a bribe of Rs 50 lakh. Earlier, the company complained to the ACC about the bribe.

The committee includes a joint secretary of the Financial Institutions Department and an official of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU).
