Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been elected one of the three most inspiring women leaders in the 54 Commonwealth countries. He has been recognized for his unique leadership in the global coronavirus epidemic, according to the Bangladesh High Commission in London.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland, in a special declaration on March 4, ahead of International Women’s Day 2021, described the three heads of government as “extraordinary women leaders and deeply inspiring”.
“I’ve been inspired by a lot of women and girls,” she said. Even then, we want to name three wonderful leaders of the Commonwealth – the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Arden, the Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Amor Motley and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.
The Commonwealth Secretary-General also noted that the three leaders had shown remarkable prowess in their respective roles during the Corona period.
