Expatriates sent 178 million dollars remitance in February

The expatriates have sent a record amount of money to the country in February 2021. This month, the expatriates in different countries of the world have sent 178 million dollars. At the same time last year, expatriates sent 145 crore dollars. In other words, remittances have increased by 22.61 percent in February compared to the same period last year. This information has been highlighted in the updated report of Bangladesh Bank.
Due to these remittances sent by expatriates, the record amount of foreign exchange reserves has exceeded 44.12 billion dollars.
