MetLife providing insurance services to IPDC

MetLife Bangladesh and IPDC Finance Limited have recently signed an agreement under which MetLife will provide group life and medical insurance coverage to more than 580 IPDC employees.
Through Group Life Insurance, companies provide insurance coverage to their employees in the event of death, accident or physical disability.
MetLife has been providing world-class insurance services to more than 800 companies in various sectors, including the financial sector, in Bangladesh. As the country’s leading life insurance company, MetLife serves more than 1 million individual customers.
IPDC, the country’s first private sector financial institution, was established in 1981. IPDC is one of the top financial institutions in Bangladesh with a market capitalization of around Rs 10.3 billion.
Ala Ahmed, General Manager, MetLife Bangladesh and Mominul Islam, Managing Director & CEO, IPDC signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Senior officials of both the organizations were also present on the occasion.
