Appointment of administrator at Delta Life

The Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA), the regulatory body, has appointed administrators to the much-discussed Delta Life Insurance Company. Former IDRA member Sultan-ul-Abedin Mollah has been appointed administrator.

On Thursday (February 11, 2021) at 4:10 pm, he went to the Delta Life office and took charge. Earlier, the IDRA rejected the application of Adiba Rahman, CEO of Delta Life Insurance, for renewal of employment, fearing that the interests of insurance customers would be harmed. Then today the authorities appointed an administrator in the company.
