India gave opportunity of transit from Bangladesh to Nepal

India has provided transit opportunities for fertilizer exports from Bangladesh to Nepal. This transit facility has been provided through Rahanpur in Chapainawabganj district and Singabad railway in India.
The Indian High Commission in Dhaka said in a press release on Monday (February 8th).
The statement further said that under an agreement signed between Bangladesh and Nepal in 1976, goods were exported from Bangladesh to Nepal and goods imported from other countries were transported through Indian territory as ‘Traffic in Transit’. India is providing transit facilities to Bangladesh especially for export and land trade with Nepal.
