Calling for investment to Japanese businessmen

The income of the people of Bangladesh is continuously increasing and a huge consumer class and market is being created in the country, said the Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office. Ahmed Kaikaus called on Japanese businessmen to invest in various sectors to take advantage of this opportunity.
Today, Tuesday (January 2) at the Bangladesh Business Seminar (webinar) held virtually. Ahmed Kaikaus called on Japanese businessmen to do the same.
The webinar was jointly organized by Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, Bangladesh Investment and Development Authority (BIDA), Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The seminar was attended by more than two hundred representatives from various Japanese businesses. Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Naoki Ito was present at the seminar.
