Hili Port annual revenue collection target met in 6 months

The annual revenue collection target set by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) at Hili land port has been met in six months. In the last 6 months of the fiscal year 2020-21, the revenue of this land port has been 152 crore 27 lakh 93 thousand taka. The target was tk 132 crore 88 lakh .
Hili Customs Deputy Commissioner Saidul Alam said the matter at noon on Wednesday (January 6).
Saidul Alam said the total revenue collected from the port from July to December of the 2020-21 financial year was Tk 152.27 crore.
About 20 crore (15%) more revenue has been collected from the port in 6 months than the target. At the same time in the last financial year, the revenue collected from the port was Tk 88 crore 97 lakh.
