Investors smile at PM’s intervention: BMBA president

Chayedur Rahman, president of the Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA), said there had been frustration among investors over the past two years. But with the intervention of the Prime Minister, the market has turned positive. For this, investors are smiling. This is how we want to see smiles on the faces of investors.
He was speaking ahead of a colorful rally organized by the Bangladesh Capital Market Investors Unity Council on Tuesday (December 29th) to mark Mujib’s centenary. The rally started from Motijheel building of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
Chhayedur Rahman said that the more developed the capital market of a country, the more developed its economy is. That is why everyone must come forward and invest knowingly for the development of the capital market. This will develop the country’s economy.
Former director of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and CEO of Modern Securities Khujista Noor-e-Nahrin Munni was present at the rally. AKM Mizanur Rashid Chowdhury, President of Oikya Parishad, Bangladesh Capital Market Investors, presided over the function.
