Business leader Shahin dies

Business leader Shahin Ahmed Shahin, 55, died today of pneumonia complications at a city hospital. Inna Lillahe Wainna Ilaihe Rajeun.
Shahin, a director of Bangladesh Electrical Mercentise and Manufacturers Association (BEMMA), was buried besides the graves of his parents at his grandfather home (Chunka Bari) in Narayanganj after namaj-e-janaza after Zohr prayer.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and scores of relatives, friends and wellwishers to mourn.
Shahin, whose parental home located at the village of Mauna under Bhaderganj Upazila in Shariatpur, was also a social worker.
Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Haque Shamim in a statement expressed his deep concern at the death of Shahin and sought eternal peace of the his departed soul.
Leaders of different organisations including BEMMA president Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, senior vice president Ashequr Rahman and vice president Kamal Hossain Mredul and president of Shariatpur Journalists Association, Dhaka Mozammel Haque Chanchal and general secretary Ataur Rahman also expressed deep shock at the death of Shahin.
