Coronavirus: UCB Capital tells clients to trade from home by online

UCB Capital Management Ltd, a leading brokerage house has told its clients are advised to remain at home and continue stock trading activities using mobile apps, e-mailing or over phone calls to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The company urges its customers to avoid public gathering and uphold social distancing as directed by the country’s healthcare departments.

According to the company’s press release, UCB Capital is regularly updating its staff on the situation and on necessary precautions to take. Management of the company instructed minimum 20% of its officials to work from home mandatorily in each day based on a roaster in order to reduce gathering at its branches across the country.

Other precautions include mandatory work from home facilities for 14 days in case any employee showing syndromes of the virus. Several other social distancing measures have been placed accordingly within the office premises for fighting the on-going challenging situation, said the press release.
